Birth Matters is located in Modern Nest the first facility of its kind in Kamloops, Providing its clients the only freestanding office, library, and classroom for education, support, and community.

The Birth Matters team has been providing DONA International & ProDoula Trained Professional Birth Doula Services, Birth Photography, Intensive and Group Prenatal Classes since 1998. They are offered in our beautiful calming office space & fully equipped learning space & classroom.

Hiring a Professional Doula is a wonderful way to support both you and your partner in birthing your child. We recognize that each family is unique and support every type of birth plan, home, hospital. The Birth Matters team have supported nearly a 2000 mothers & partners over the last 23 years, and we can help GUIDE & SUPPORT you and your partner with personal, experienced and attentive support. This is not a hobby for us.

First Nations or Metis Families
We are pre-approved for the Aboriginal Doula Fund. This fund is available to all Mothers or Partners who identify as First Nations, Metis or Inuit - it covers up to $1000 towards our Doulas fees.
